🔑Emergency Bin Keys

⚠️ATTENTION⚠️

You must return the emergency bin keys back to their secure hiding spot behind the bins as hotel guests will steal our equipment. There is $3000 worth of equipment in the bins, and insurance will not cover the loss if the bin key is left in view of the hotel guests (remember, there are cameras at every pool, so it is easy for insurance to prove if we were negligent).

Emergency keys are to be used on an emergency basis only, such as if you forgot your key that day, or have permanently lost your key. You should not be using the emergency keys every day.

1. Emergency bin keys are taped to the back of the dry bin at each school.

   • Walnut Grove: Looking at the steam room door, there is a covered power outlet to the left. The emergency bin key is taped to the inside of the outlet cover.

2. If you lose your bin key:

   • Use the emergency key to gain access to the bins. Put it back where you found it, securely.

   • Take a new bin key from the pencil box to keep for yourself.
